Presentation of the Event

This site offers you the history of one of the world’s biggest canoe-kayak events. As well as a presentation of the event, you’ll find thousands of photos and hundreds of press articles. There is also an invitation to the Vallon Pont d'Arc canoe-kayak club (the VPA), the organisers of the event and a real driving force for sport in the Ardèche.

The “Fédération Française de Canoë-Kayak” will be celebrating its 75th anniversary during the marathon.       It is compulsory to wear a helmet (they can be provided by the organisation)
